Thank you Theresa Easton for her contribution to the Charity Art Auction


Theresa Easton uses printmaking techniques in a variety of media including glass, paper, brick clay and metal. She is interested in pushing the boundaries of printmaking, creating unique printed glass, paper and artist’s books. Easton’s area of work spans commissioned public art, such as the Metro Centre’s 2009 hand printed glass cubes, located in the Yellow Quadrant to international exhibitions such as the 5th International Artist’s Book Triennial in Vilnius 2009. Easton’s practice centres on museum, heritage and social history interpretation. For a number of years, Easton has worked closely with Newcastle’s Literary & Philosophical Society, initiating projects connected with identity, artist’s books as well as completing a year long residency in the library.
